THE PRIZE

→ For every track entered...
Rajeev Basu will create a unique 1 of 1 artwork inspired by it. You can see some artwork examples on the right. They will be made as tracks are sent in and be created entirely using clip-art. A style I have dubbed "Clip-art Art". It follows the premise of using something undesirable as the medium to create something beautiful.

↓ The Grand Prize
At the end of the contest, the three most inventive tracks will be chosen.
These will be turned into sound-sculpture installations (artist's impression below), which we aim to exhibit in 2012. The winners will also receive a range of Soundcloud prizes.

EEP EEP EEP EP is the concept album made entirely using alarms.

Statement
These days, most alarms are just false alarms.
They're everywhere. They go off all the time. And they're often left unattended.
(We've all had that car alarm outside, that just won't stop.)
Alarms are a nuisance.
This is an experiment to see if we can turn that on its head.
Can we turn alarm sounds into music that people will actually like listening to?
